Jennifer has been an integral part of California Southwestern Insurance Agency since 1995. Over her 30-year career with the firm, she has risen through the ranks by demonstrating exemplary service, technical expertise, and leadership in commercial insurance. Beginning as a receptionist, Jennifer quickly embraced new challenges, advancing to Commercial Account Manager, then Director of Commercial Operations, and most recently earning her promotion to Vice President and Commercial Producer.
Professional Credentials and Expertise
– Earned the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation from the National Alliance in 1998
– Achieved the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2010
– Twenty years of specialized experience writing and servicing Mobile Home Park accounts
– Proven track record in underwriting, risk assessment, and account management for Retail BOPS, Contractors, Non-Profit Organizations, and Restaurants
Throughout her tenure, Jennifer has been a mentor and trainer to successive generations of commercial account managers. Her deep knowledge of underwriting practices, policy structures, and claims management has helped shape a team of insurance professionals who consistently excel in their careers and deliver outstanding service to clients.
Roles and Responsibilities
As Vice President and Commercial Producer, Jennifer:
– Leads business development efforts for the agency’s commercial lines
– Oversees the servicing and retention of key accounts, with a focus on complex risks
– Collaborates with underwriters and risk managers to negotiate coverage terms and premium structures
– Designs and implements training programs that enhance the technical skills and product knowledge of the commercial team
Community and Personal Interests
Jennifer and her husband are proud parents of two boys. Outside the office, the family enjoys attending and supporting youth baseball and volleyball leagues. Jennifer believes that teamwork, communication, and perseverance—values instilled through sports—mirror the qualities essential to success in the insurance industry.
